Jesus is the sower; the seed is the word of God. The soil symbolizes the various types of people who hear and give responses to Godโs word. The scarcity of the fruits does not depend either on the seeds or on the sower but on the type of soil that receives it.
Which of the four hearers do you belong? Which soil are you?
