A Blessed Pilgrimage with WCCM Malaysia: A Journey of Grace at St. Francis of Assisi Church

On April 1st, we had the privilege of welcoming six groups of pilgrims to St. Francis of Assisi Church, embarking on a journey of faith, reflection, and divine grace. Organized by The World Community for Christian Meditation (WCCM) Malaysia, this sacred gathering was a profound reminder of God’s presence in our lives.

The morning began with warm embraces and joyful hearts as pilgrims arrived for registration and a heartfelt welcome. The journey commenced with the Way of the Cross, where each station became a moment of deep contemplation and an invitation to walk alongside Christ in His sacrifice and love.

After refreshments and fellowship, pilgrims were drawn into the sacred history of our parish, discovering the stories woven into our stunning stained glass windows, each a testament to faith, devotion, and the legacy of our church.

A truly holy moment followed by veneration of relics, where hearts opened in reverence to the saints who walked before us. Pilgrims also reflected on the Daily 8 Habits by Fr. Paul, a guiding light for living a life rooted in Christ’s teachings.

The pinnacle of this pilgrimage was the celebration of the Holy Mass, a moment of profound grace presided over by our beloved parish priest, Fr. Paul. As voices united in prayer and thanksgiving, the presence of Christ was tangible, filling hearts with peace and renewal.

The pilgrimage concluded with a deep, soul-centering meditation, allowing each pilgrim to embrace the blessings received and carry them forth in their spiritual journey.

We are humbled and grateful to WCCM Malaysia for organizing this deeply moving experience. To each pilgrim who walked this path with us, may your hearts continue to be illuminated by the light of Christ, and may this sacred journey remain a wellspring of faith, love, and renewal.
