In joyful anticipation of the Feast of St. Andrew (30 November), the BEC of St. Andrew gathered on 29 November 2024 for a special celebration. The Feast Day Mass, celebrated a day early, was hosted graciously at the home of one of our parishioners.
A total of 21 BEC members came together in fellowship to mark this joyous occasion. The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Rev. Fr. Paul Cheong, whose homily inspired and uplifted everyone. Reflecting on Matthew 4:19, “Come, follow me,” ... “and I will make you fishers of men,” Fr. Paul emphasized the call to discipleship, urging us to be clear about our identity and mission. He reminded us that effective discipleship leads to building community, which ultimately fosters evangelization, guided by the 8 Habits of Effective Christian Living model.
The celebration concluded around 9:30 PM, leaving everyone filled with joy, laughter, and a renewed sense of purpose. The BEC members now look forward eagerly to their upcoming Christmas celebration, continuing to grow in faith and fellowship.
