In celebration of the Jubilee Year, SFA Church hosted the ๐๐๐ฏ๐ถ๐น๐ฒ๐ฒ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ผ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐บ๐ฝ๐น๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฃ๐ถ๐น๐ด๐ฟ๐ถ๐บ๐ฎ๐ด๐ฒ on 1 March 2025. This sacred journey, organized by five church ministries, welcomed 160 participants in the afternoon and 50 more in the evening Catholic Charismatic Renewal (CCR) session. Led by Fr. Paul Cheong OFM. Cap., the pilgrimage invited participants into deep prayer, reflection, and renewal.
Fr. Paul opened with a talk on "๐ช๐ต๐ฎ๐ ๐ถ๐ ๐๐ผ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐บ๐ฝ๐น๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด?", emphasizing faith, gratitude, and mindful living. This was followed by Dr. Madelene Ongโs session on mindful eating and breathing, promoting greater awareness in daily life. Mr. Jason Lee then introduced Christian meditation, teaching how stillness and surrender deepen one's connection with God.
A powerful moment of the pilgrimage was the ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐ฐ๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป, where many participants, some after a long time, sought God's mercy in Confession. Six priests spent over an hour hearing confessions, reflecting the deep hunger for spiritual renewal. Another highlight was the ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐น๐ถ๐ฐ๐ at the Portiuncula Chapel, offering pilgrims a moment of prayer and reflection.
The evening concluded with a Novena, Sunset Mass, and a communal dinner, followed by a Praise & Worship session attended by 200 faithful. Fr. He encouraged all to live out their faith by practicing 8 spiritual habits.
This pilgrimage was an enriching spiritual journey, leaving participants renewed in faith and more mindful of Godโs presence.
As we journey through this Holy Year, may we continue embracing the grace of stillness, contemplation, and transformation.
