MBB Lenten Outreach 2025: Bringing Hope and Care to the Streets

On April 3, 2025, members of the Mission Beyond Borders (MBB) ministry, together with 18 parishioners from St. Francis of Assisi (SFA) Cheras, collaborated with the NGO Food 4U in a street feeding mission at Jalan Sayur, Pudu, Kuala Lumpur.
As part of the MBB Lenten Outreach 2025 and in fulfilment of our Catholic Lenten obligation, volunteers distributed warm, nourishing meals along with other essential food items, including biscuits, oranges, and vitamins, to approximately 350 homeless and destitute individuals. This act of service was made possible through the generosity of those who contributed in cash and kind, reflecting the true spirit of Lent—prayer, fasting, and almsgiving.
