On 30 November 2024, approximately 160 parishioners gathered for our annual Parish Pastoral Assembly (PPA). This significant event served as a time of reflection, discernment, and renewal as we continue our shared journey of faith.
Our ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ต ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ผ๐๐ป๐ฐ๐ถ๐น (๐ฃ๐ฃ๐) ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ถ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฎ๐ป, ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ป๐ ๐ก๐ฒ๐๐ฎ๐ป, presented ๐ฆ๐๐ ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ต ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐น ๐ฃ๐น๐ฎ๐ป ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฑ, which aligns with ๐๐๐ฏ๐ถ๐น๐ฒ๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฑ and the four thrusts guiding our local churchโs journey toward the Malaysia Pastoral Convention 2026 (MPC2026): ๐๐ฎ๐บ๐ถ๐น๐, ๐๐ต๐๐ฟ๐ฐ๐ต, ๐๐ฐ๐ผ๐น๐ผ๐ด๐, ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฆ๐ผ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฒ๐๐.
Parishioners engaged in meaningful ๐๐ฝ๐ถ๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐๐ฎ๐น ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ within small groups, sharing insights and perspectives on the proposed parish plan. The fruits of these discussions will help refine and enhance our Parish Plan for 2025.
We were honoured to have ๐๐ฟ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฏ๐ถ๐๐ต๐ผ๐ฝ ๐๐๐น๐ถ๐ฎ๐ป ๐๐ฒ๐ผ๐ with us for the assembly. In his inspiring address, His Grace challenged us to:
๐๐๐ฎ๐น๐๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฒ๐ณ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐ฒ๐๐ of parish activities and events, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐บ๐บ๐๐ป๐ถ๐๐โ๐ ๐ป๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฑ๐, ensuring no one is left behind as we journey together in faith.
In his closing remarks, our ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ต ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฒ๐๐, ๐๐ฎ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐๐น ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ผ๐ป๐ด, posed a question: "Are we growing in holiness, communion and mission through our parish activities and events?"
Fr. Paul emphasized that ๐ฑ๐ถ๐๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฝ๐น๐ฒ๐๐ต๐ถ๐ฝ ๐ถ๐ ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐๐ถ๐๐ต๐ถ๐ป ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ต๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ด๐ต ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐บ๐บ๐๐ป๐ถ๐๐. He urged us to foster the work of the Holy Spirit, intensify the practice of the โ8 Habits of Effective Christian Livingโ, and ignite the fire of faith in others.
The assembly concluded with a spirit-filled moment of prayer and worship, as Fr. Paul led us in singing โ๐ฆ๐ฝ๐ถ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ผ๐ฑโ, inviting the Holy Spirit to renew, empower and guide us in the days ahead.
